Moneyverse 2025: Memorable Milestones for the Leading Finance Game Show

A reality show challenge, an AI judge, and more than 32,000 students competing: The Moneyverse has broken the mold of traditional financial education programs.

Entering its second season, The Moneyverse 2025 continues to prove its appeal as the leading financial education program for Vietnamese students. The program has drawn a large audience: nearly 250,000 followers on social media (Facebook, TikTok, YouTube), about 130 million cross-platform reach, more than 300 million views of the program’s videos, and 2 million interactions on its official channels.

With the theme “Digital Galaxy,” the program follows the trend of digital transformation and the government’s digital literacy initiatives. This year, the scale of the program has doubled, with 54 universities and academies taking part, representing a wide range of fields (Police, Public Security, Architecture, and others, alongside Economics and Finance), along with a diverse group of contestants from all three regions of the country.

In its second season, The Moneyverse brings several new advances in how personal finance knowledge is approached and delivered. From the quarterfinals onward, contestants face in-depth case studies on real-life issues such as spending, investing, and money management, topics that only appeared in the semifinals of the first season. This is regarded as a significant upgrade in content structure, reflecting the program’s commitment to raising academic depth.

The highlight of this round is the Responsibility Star (NSTT) category, which honors the spirit of sharing with the community in every financial decision. InfoRE, a pioneering company running the “AI Learning for the People” campaign in Vietnam, awarded 4,000 AI scholarships worth a total of 8 billion VND to four schools that hold a Responsibility Star but had not yet activated it, helping empower Vietnamese students to enter the era of artificial intelligence and smart finance, where technology and people build the future together. ADT Global brought a 100% “made in Vietnam” virtual reality (VR) solution to the Data Hunter segment, allowing contestants and audiences to experience a vivid simulated space, increasing visual interactivity and connecting knowledge with reality.

At the semifinals, the program adopted a reality-TV format with highly practical scenarios. Each round presented a different challenge: from livestreaming sales of agricultural products on TikTok Shop and opening a bank account at Aeon Mall, to running a business campaign selling Thống Nhất bicycles to generate real revenue. At this stage, contestants competed not only on knowledge and professional skills but also had to show creativity, market understanding, and the ability to respond flexibly to change, qualities essential for the younger generation in the digital economy. The challenges were very practical: livestreaming Vietnamese agricultural products, building a business plan, and more.

Alongside the content, the program also invested heavily in the audience experience. Broadcast regularly on TV360, the digital TV platform of Viettel Telecom, the program helped expand its reach to 16 million viewers. In particular, a transparent and public voting mechanism made it easy for viewers to vote and follow results updated weekly. There were more than 1,100,000 votes from TV360 viewers, with Nguyễn Minh Hiếu (from Thuongmai University) receiving more than 400,000 votes, securing his place in the Final. But that was not all: a live event, Money Day, was held specifically for the top 10 schools with the most outstanding contestants. There, tens of thousands of students had the chance to meet experts from many fields, join talk shows, and experience simulated competitions.

In particular, the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) not only sent experts to join the expert panel but also awarded a scholarship worth 200 million VND to each school to encourage the learning spirit of the “astronauts,” for a total value of up to 2 billion VND. In addition, the top 10 best candidates received internship and job opportunities at BIDV, one of Vietnam’s leading commercial banks, opening new paths for the younger generation to continue their journey.

The Moneyverse 2025 Final will be a contest among the six best contestants: Phạm Thị Mai Hương (Vietnam Maritime University), Đào Thị Linh (Hanoi Architectural University), Đậu Xuân Huân (University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City), Hoàng Đức Tôn (Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology), Bùi Linh Chi (Academy of Finance), and Nguyễn Minh Hiếu (Thuongmai University). The final night was recorded at the Vietnam Space Museum and the National Innovation Center (NIC), in an Escape Room format with five rooms corresponding to five planets: Earning, Spending, Saving, Investing, and Preserving. Designed on gamification principles combined with education, each space challenges intellect and reflexes and also demands strategic thinking and quick decision-making, essential skills of a true financial manager. In particular, the opening round, the Accumulation Planet Challenge, features a contest between the six contestants and 1,000 audience members in the studio. It is not only a direct elimination round for one contestant but also a chance for the best audience member to win an iPhone 17 1TB. One of the filming settings for the final: the Vietnam Space Center, a symbol of the contestants’ aspiration to reach new heights.

This competition marks the first time in the history of reality game shows in Vietnam that contestants face Multi-Agent AI, an AI-powered judge, in the final round of the Coin Planet competition. Multi-Agent AI is a platform that brings together multiple autonomous AI assistants, each agent taking on a specialized role from data collection, analysis, and simulation to making recommendations, all operating within a unified architecture. The Multi-Agent AI system used in the program has previously been displayed at the National Achievements Exhibition and many other national-level exhibitions. The two best “astronauts” must interact directly with and conquer challenges from this Autonomous AI Assistant system to win the title of champion of Coin Universe 2025.

For the first time, Multi-Agent AI takes on the role of judge in a financial education game show.
