Vi An - The Virtual Ambassador of Viettel

The hyper-realistic virtual ambassador Vi An, developed by Viettel in collaboration with ADT Global, is capable of communication and has a human-like appearance, with realistic skin, hair, and expressive eyes.

Vi An is the first hyper-realistic virtual ambassador in Vietnam, and she was recently introduced at the Mobile World Congress 2024 (MWC 2024). Viettel also stands as the sole representative of Vietnam at the MWC 2024, unveiling the world of AI Human technology.

In addition to the MWC, Vi An has also appeared at numerous other events, including in shopping centers, cloud computing conferences, etc., attracting public attention. Vi An even caused a sensation with collaborative photo shoots alongside Anh Tu – Dieu Nhi and video conversations with Tun Pham, showcasing remarkably lifelike quality.

Vi An is a name derived from the initials of the words “Viet Nam,” representing pride as the virtual ambassador created and developed by the Vietnamese team. She embodies the distinctive style of GenZ: cute, friendly, and full of energy. Vi An is crafted with the most lifelike skin, hair, and eyes, making it difficult to distinguish her as virtual without prior introduction. The hyper-realistic quality surpasses that of virtual influencers from the United States, Japan, Thailand, and others, thanks to mastery of complex technology systems and coordination among the most advanced engines in the world, considered the future of 3D CGI and AI Human.

ADT Global has utilized state-of-the-art professional graphic software to create the most lifelike images of Vi An’s skin, hair, eyes, and simulated movements of clothing. Cutting-edge Motion Capture systems, recording a variety of movements, are also essential and play a crucial role in generating realistic gestures, bringing “life” to her character.

“To interact with the audience in the most genuine and natural way, the design and development of Vi An had to be based on the photorealism approach. This requires a combination of deep understanding of advanced technology and high expertise in artistry,” shared Mr. Nguyen The Duy, Vice Chairman of ADT Global, about the process of developing this hyper-realistic virtual character.

In the future, the research team will continue to refine and upgrade Vi An to become a more perfect version, capable of providing quick and accurate responses with minimal time delay, answering questions in various fields, and processing multiple languages.
