Digitizing the Mỹ Đình F1 track with 3D technology and racing simulation

ADT digitizes the My Dinh F1 track using 3D technology, Interactive Web3D, and real-time interactive driving simulation.

Digitizing the Mỹ Đình F1 track with 3D technology and racing simulation

The My Dinh F1 circuit was digitized by ADT using 3D Digitization technology, integrated with Interactive Web3D and the Advanced F1 Simulator system. The solution recreates the track space in a digital environment while delivering a real-time interactive driving simulation experience.

Digitizing the My Dinh F1 Circuit with Interactive Web3D

To bring a large-scale structure into the digital space, ADT deployed 3D Digitization technology and integrated the model onto the Interactive Web3D platform. The solution allows users to explore the My Dinh F1 circuit online with an intuitive perspective and flexible interactive capabilities.

The digitization process focuses on three main elements:

  • 3D space recreation: Simulating details such as corners, gradients, track surfaces, and surrounding infrastructure.
  • Interactive 360° tour: Enabling users to proactively observe and explore the track from multiple angles with high-resolution imagery.
  • Web platform performance optimization: Optimizing 3D data capacity to improve loading speeds while maintaining display quality.

Combining the 3D model with the Web3D platform helps expand accessibility to the track space, shifting the experience of exploring the structure from the physical environment to the online realm.

Advanced F1 Simulator: Experiencing the track from a racer’s perspective

Alongside digitizing spaces, ADT has developed an Advanced F1 Simulator cockpit system, combining a digital racetrack model with control devices and a sensor system. Participants can directly drive the car in the simulated environment instead of just watching images on the screen.

Wide-Angle Display System

The curved triple-monitor system brings a breakthrough to the racing simulator space by maximizing the field of view. The eye-wrapping curved design, combined with ultra-thin bezels, creates a seamless panoramic view that fully encompasses the cockpit space and the entire track landscape.

This multi-monitor setup realistically recreates the first-person perspective, allowing racers to easily check their side mirrors, monitor blind spots, and identify sharp corners early. As a result, players are not only immersed in the realistic sensation of speed but can also enhance their reflexes, accurately handling overtaking maneuvers or high-speed situations.

Specialized Control and Sensor Equipment

Alongside top-tier visuals, the system delivers an authentic driving feel thanks to the perfect combination of a Direct Drive force feedback steering wheel and high-end Load Cell sensor pedals. Every control input from the player—from sharp steering and accelerating out of corners to subtle trail braking techniques—is recorded with near-zero latency.

These physical inputs are instantly transmitted directly to the simulation software while recreating force feedback that corresponds to the car’s real-time dynamics. Drivers can clearly feel the tire grip, G-forces when cornering, the bumpiness of the track curbs, and wheel slip right in their own hands and feet.

Synchronization with the Track’s Digital Twin

The Advanced F1 Simulator is integrated with the Digital Twin of the My Dinh F1 circuit. The system processes graphics and synchronizes inputs in real time, aiming to minimize the latency between control actions and visual feedback.

The combination of the 3D space, simulation equipment, and real-time processing system enables players to experience acceleration, braking, and cornering scenarios in a highly interactive virtual racing environment.

From Spatial Digitization to Developing Interactive Experiences

The My Dinh F1 circuit project demonstrates the capability to combine multiple technologies into a comprehensive experiential solution: from spatial digitization using 3D Digitization and online tours via Interactive Web3D, to interactive simulation with the Advanced F1 Simulator.

This approach can also be applied to exhibition projects, display spaces, and brand experiences, where 3D models, digital platforms, and interactive technologies are combined to empower users to explore content more proactively.

ADT Global develops solutions that apply digital, interactive, and simulation technologies tailored to the specific characteristics of each project, ranging from recreating physical spaces to building technological experiences for visitors.
