Racing simulation technology and the spatial digitization of F1 events
From 3D models to simulation cockpits, technology is expanding the way audiences access and experience high-speed sports.
When attending Formula 1 in Singapore, many spectators are impressed not only by the high-speed sprints on the track but also by the interactive technology experiences. From 3D spatial models to simulation cockpits, technology is expanding how audiences access and experience the sport of speed.
Formula 1 Exhibition: When technology expands the racing experience
Alongside the appeal of the Singapore Grand Prix, the Formula 1 Exhibition offers a different perspective on the racing world through interactive exhibition areas and modern simulation systems. Instead of merely watching the race from the grandstands, visitors can deeply explore the technology, space, and sensation of driving.
These experiences demonstrate the increasingly clear role of digital technology in connecting audiences with sporting events. 3D graphics, interactive simulations, and real-time processing systems not only enhance visual appeal but also create new touchpoints between attendees and event content.
ADT and the challenge of digitizing the My Dinh F1 circuit space
In Vietnam, the application of technology to the racing experience has been implemented through the My Dinh F1 circuit project executed by the ADT team. The project focuses on two main categories: digitizing the track space and developing an interactive racing simulation system.

Spatial digitization using 3D models
ADT built a highly accurate 3D model of the entire circuit and integrated it into an online system. The solution helps recreate the track space in a digital environment, supporting users to access and explore the location more intuitively.
Spatial digitization requires a combination of 3D modeling capabilities, model accuracy, and the ability to integrate onto online platforms.
Developing the Racing Simulator system
In addition to the digital space model, ADT developed the Racing Simulator system with an interactive cockpit, aiming for an authentic racing simulation experience.
Key technical elements include optimizing latency during interactions and integrating a multiplayer competition feature. The coordination between simulation, real-time feedback, and player connectivity contributes to a highly interactive racing experience.
The technological capabilities behind the digital experience
From the 3D model of the circuit to the interactive simulation system, the My Dinh F1 project demonstrates how technology can be applied to recreate spaces and build digital experiences for large-scale sporting events.
For projects with complex technical requirements, the effectiveness of the experience depends on the combination of 3D graphics, performance optimization capabilities, and real-time interactive systems. These are also crucial capabilities in the process of developing spatial digitization, simulation, and interactive experience solutions for events and exhibitions.
ADT Global continues its direction of applying technology to develop digital experiences tailored to the goals and characteristics of each project, from recreating spaces on online platforms to building interactive simulation systems.
